If both your families are contributing, I don’t think it matters the percentage– the way you did it looks just fine.  I doubt anyone will be upset by it.

I would switch it. Since they are paying the most they should be leading.

Traditionally the bride’s parents’ names are first since traditionally, they are the ones paying. But I think etiquette dictates whoever pays most, if it is a significant amount more than the other parents, is listed first. In that case, I suppose the groom’s parents are listed first.

i would list the groom’s parents first since they’re paying for the majority of the wedding.

I’d say

Bride’s name

Groom name

along with their parents

request the pleasure of your company
at the celebration of their marriage

Friday the twenty ninth of July
Two thousand and eleven
three o’clock in the noon
Location of church

reception to follow at XXXXXX
cocktail beginning at six in the evening

This way no feelings are hurt.

Either Eve Candy or the way you wrote it is excellent.

I would say “together w/their parents” instead of ‘along’ in Candy’s though if that’s your choice.

However, one minor detai I would write the following regarding the reception.  I suggest the following wording instead:

and at the cocktail hour and dinner reception

six o’clock in the evening

City, Town

I would ask the groom’s parents if they have a preference. They might prefer to be listed first because they are paying for the majority, but they also might prefer not to be since it is not as traditional.
