I need some help with the wording of my invitations. Both our fathers are deceased, so we would like to acknowledge our mothers in the invite. After looking at many invitation websites, this is what I’ve been able to find:
MRS. XXX AND MRS. XXX
INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN THE JOY OF THE MARRIAGE UNITING THEIR CHILDREN
ON SATURDAY, TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT AT THREE O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON
I really like the part that says, "Invite you to share in the joy of the marriage uniting their children…" But I’m not too excited about the beginning part saying MRS. XXX and MRS. XXX. Is there any other way that I can word this to acknowledge our mothers but not so specific to their names and keep the part that I like??? Any help would be great!! Thanks soo much!
