I like it, but I’m not sure about the dots around the edges?

@jasonkatie2014:  The double duty the dots are working throw the eye off.

Use a light double line border around the outside. Even the dots on the inside of the invite could be replaced with a light scroll/ornament (google).

Also you have A LOT of fonts – I would use two – three AT MOST for one design. Otherwise it makes it look super busy.

@SweetFlower:  i agree, the dots are throwing me off.

@jasonkatie2014:  can you try them without the dot border?  maybe a thin single or double line border.  even a double thick and thin border.

I don’t mind the dots but can see what people are saying.  I think there is something slightly off with the purple and greeen combination, I think the birghtness/hue of one of them should change but I can’t work out which.

In general though they look great and I think even as they are, they are very nice.

@jasonkatie2014:  The only thing Im thinking is I wish the dots around the pieces were a little more dainty. Your typography is AWESOME and I feel like the dots are a little big and the tiniest bit distracting.

@jasonkatie2014: I think it would look better if you were to change the colours – perhaps use a violet/iris shade instead of the current purple, paired with a watery green. Alternatively, change the green to a turquoise.

This is just a personal preference, so I’m not sure if it would help you or not, but I don’t like the purple/green combo.  Reminds me of the Joker in Batman.  And why is the word “RSVP” in brown?  I also agree with others about the dots.  I would either go with a solid border or no border at all.

I like the purple, it’s the green I’m not super loving. It looks kind of, for lack of a better word, pukey. Not that the invitation itself is, I think it’s super cute! I just don’t love the shade of green, maybe a forest green instead?
