- Wedding: May 2013
So two questions regarding etiquette:
Husband and I got married in May in a private destination ceremony. Planning our reception/party for Oct 4th of this year. Rather than having wedding favors, we plan to donate to an animal welfare charity and put cards out at the tables indicating we have chosen this option in lieu of the favors. Is there any preferable way to do this? Or kind of anything goes?
2nd: We are going to send out the invitations probably next week but want to indicate to our guests that this is an adults only event and we don’t want any kids there. Since we’re already married, we aren’t having a flower girl etc. Any nice way to put this on the invitations? I doubt any of our guests would do this, but I want to make sure we don’t end up with a little surprise on the day of. (parents have no desire to pay for a kids menu in addition or to worry about parents who may or may not let their kids have the run of the place)
