@HC_IC721:  Love the style! I voted black because I think it will be easier to read.

@HC_IC721:  Agree with @Kili: about the black. I always try to think about someone’s grandparents trying to read things and whether it might be difficult for them when voting on stuff like this.  The combo of the sheen of the paper and the lighter colored font might make it hard to read. The black stands out better.

@HC_IC721:  I LOVE VOTINGGGG! But seriously, I like the gold better, but I think the black is more practical ya know, with old ppl and what not.

I’d choose the black lettering for the easier readability.  You don’t want to get a bunch of calls from people who can’t read the gold lettering against the (seemingly) gold background.

If you feel black is too harsh, pick a dark slate grey instead.

@HC_IC721:  I personally like the gold, but black is way easier to read.

I plan on DIYing my invites too. Can I ask if you bought the paper like that, or do you print that background on too?

@HC_IC721:  Very Creative! I’ve been looking at the DIY print at home ones and a lot of invites require you to print the background, and whoa, there going to use A LOT of ink.

Maybe your more crafty than you think?

@HC_IC721:  What about having your names in gold and the rest of the text in black?

@HC_IC721:  – @ksus07:  beat me to it, she said exactly what I was thinking.  Do black text with your names in gold.

I feel like it needs something at the top as well 🙂

I also think black with gold names would be great, I did something similar with mine.
