So we finally got the invitations done…..
We have an envelope for the RSVP.
You can definitely see my daughter has a quirky sense of humor 🙂
So question is should we just put it all in the big envelope? Or should we attach them together? ribbon?

They are adorable!! Had I not had mine done already (mad lib style), I would so steal this idea!
Its hard to tell the size. But maybe have a belt band with a sticker to hold together in envelope or get a pocket envelope?

ladydirtold: Here is a blog post about different ways to put invites together. Could be a band of paper holding the pieces together (aka ‘belly band’) or burlap, lace doily, etc. keep in mind that any large bulges (from a ribbon bow, etc) don’t do well with the machines at the post office.

Sorry, I meant Belly Bands. like this-
You can get them monogrammed or put a sticker on them. Lots to choose from!

That’s what I was looking for to hold it all together! If I just wanted to do a band of paper, how would I attach it together ?

I’m doing the belly band so I got paper at michaels that I’m cutting in strips and bought personalized stickers at zazzle.com to hold them together. I got them within 2 days after I ordered them. I cut the strips the same width as the stickers.

Would tulle work? She loves tulle! How would you make it stick together though?

ladydirtold: you could try washi tape around the tulle… not sure if it would look nice, but if it has a cute patern i could imagine it would work…
