So far.... about $130 dollars, ive done 150 of these... 50 just plain DL size for guests not recieving an invitation to reception, with enough paper left over now for the accommodation and map to go, all DIY.
We haven't created ours yet. I have all the paper and tools to do it. Here is my photoshop mock-up:

I think we've spent about $150 on 50 (ink, paper cutter, paper, pocketfolds, tape runners, envelopes). $3 each isn't bad to get exactly what I wanted.
I wont post pics of mines cuz I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing them but I spent maybe right around $100. They're in my DIY if you would like to see them.
So pretty, and such a great deal!
Here are mine (well, this is the proof from Etsy, not our actual ones). I paid $35 for the design and $140 to have them printed and cut.
Citrus Press Co. I would HIGHLY recommend her. We emailed back and forth at least 10 times to make sure colors and fonts were perfect, and then she had the proof done in a day. I couldn't believe how little she was charging me for all that work.

Mine were like this but they were more of an ice blue/ silver color... I think with the invites and the RSVP cards and the silver envelopes my mom just HAD to buy, it was around $400.
They came from zazzle and what I loved was that I could customize them (i.e. the color!!!)
Here are my DIY invitations posted on another bee thread. They came out to $2.89 each.
I need more inspiration!!! lol I'm having a lot of trouble finding invitations that I love....
The top is the invitation, and the bottom is the program. Printed on a pearlized Ecru from Envelopments paper, with caspian envelope and caspian and teal backing. Originally spotted @ Mindy and Angie's fine paper in Wrightsville Beach, NC (where I live/getting married).
Ecru, Caspian, and Teal backing = .24 ea. for 8 1/2 x 11
Envelopes - .50 ea
we can get 2 invitations and 2 rsvp postcards for each sheet (we're getting it cut)
I'm designing it in InDesign and having the local print shop print and cut them, which according to their estimate should be less than $30.
Total estimate for 150 invitations: $160 - $180.
I'd like to see some more invitations too. I'm deciding if I am up to the DIY or not.
I had ours made by a family friend and they ended up being about $3 a piece.
