We used photo invitations for our wedding shower. We just ordered them from Sams Club. They weren't overly fantastic, but they were nice, cheap, and fast. I think we got 100 with envelpes for around $25.
If you have time you should check on etsy or ask your photographer if he/she can design something.
rexcraft, magnetastreet, weddingpaperdivas, etc. lots of places that offer photograph invitations! we were thinking about doing this too but because we have a photo-save the date, didn't want to overdo pictures of ourselves
These are advertised as Save The Dates, but they make more sense as Invites to me. It seems so easy too.
There are a bunch of options for them here: http://www.minted.com/save-the-date-photo-minibook-cards
I've seen these once on a photog's blog!

You can go to the blog entry to see the full thing - I think the couple designed it themselves though. However, I can see this being something that you can get made (from someone who does digital design) and get it printed. As you can see, it's pretty simple. If you used a photo for your Save-The-Dates, just use different ones. As a guest, I'm always interested to see folks' photos!

I am struggling to find invitiations that I want to order for my wedding! I would love to incorporate my engagement photos to create really fun/unique/artsy invites. Has anyone seen any of these types of invites?! I would love suggestions :)
