I am currently working on figuring out what to do with our invites… we will be purchasing flat invitations, and we will also have a rsvp card with envelope & a reception information card. I’m trying to figure out how to send these. I don’t want to have to purchase pocketfolds, but I feel like it’ll be kind of messy if I just put everything in an envelope & send them off. Has anyone sent invitations without any kind of pocketfold & have ideas for me? Thanks for any help!

We tied a thin ribbon around the rest of the items for the invitation for my sisters wedding. It looked cute and kept everything together in the envelope.

I didn’t do pocketfolds or anything. I just had my flat invites, and then I found these really adorable heart shaped paperclips from Kikkerland, so I clipped on the RSVP so it would all come out of the envelope at once. I sewed all my other pages together like a little booklet (main invite & map, didn’t include an accomodations page), so it’s not like there was a million loose pages in there anyways. We also used the heart on our invites, so the paperclip tied in nicely. Our guests loved them!

You could use twine to tie everything together.

i’m tying everything together with twine. then i’m adding a tag (like in fireslayer’s picture) with the invited guests’ names — the tag is taking the place of an inner envelope.
