Pretty! I would change the wording a little, eliminate teh commas and list the town/state of the reception for any OOT (unless you're including a reception card)
Saturday
the twenty fifth of June
Two Thousand Ten
four o'clock
Blue Falls Grove
X Town, Y State
thanks for the tip! I was planning on playing with the wording a bit I just wanted to get the idea of the picture out of my head and onto paper!
I'd for sure check out some of the invitation sites and look at their wording for the invitations!
I like the starfish!
I like Clover's suggestions. I also think you should try maybe another font for your smaller text? It is a little hard to read at the top.
I love that you're doing it so inexpensively, congrats to you!
I think it looks odd having the text not justified or centered. Try setting the text on the bottom have to right justify.
twenty eleven is definitely differant wording for the year..
Have you ever thought of doing them yourself? Because the idea you have is really simple and definitely a very cool DIY job. I think you should also have your name in some fancy print, so it stands out a little more and I agree with jojo about the centering (sp?). :)
Yea I would definitely check out the wording issues and the text alignment but this is a great start. Keep up the good work.
tarahartman- are these the ones your ended up ordering? Super cute.. and even better that they are inexpensive..I love a good deal!! :)
I would work on the text and layout of the letters.. i like the overall design, though! One thing i'd suggest is ordering a sample before you order all 240. Snapfish isn't a bad printer, but they're not going to do the same kind of job as a local printer, you know? The quality might not come through.
Pretty! The only thing I would change is doing right justification for the date/time text at the bottom. Otherwise everything looks great.

So, I've come to realize that snapfish.com is rediculously inexpensive. So I plan on uploading my invite as a jpeg and ordering photcards with a plain white band on the left hand side so I can personlize them a bit with a ribbon or some embossing... Here is the jpeg. You can't beat $.29 a card envelope included... and with personalized return address labels, stamps and some colored paper as an envelope insert I think these will be fantastic!!
The save the dates are also $.29 a card... we're getting 240 of them... it comes to like 70 dollars.. plus 20 for shipping... PLUS snapfish does all kinds of seasonal 20% off deals... so I will definately wait for one of those to arrise before I order. SOOO CHEAP!!! Leaving much much much more money for the honeymoon ;-)
