Honestly custom stamps are a waste of money.  The stamps get marked up in the mail and no one notices them.  Fiance insisted on getting PIXAR stamps for our invites and only 1 person (a PIXAR junkie) commented on them.

We were going to do pic stamps for the invites, but they are honestly a waste of money. My aunt just used them for a high end baby shower and no one noticed that they matched. You also have to keep in mind that cost of postage is about to change in the next two weeks and Zazzle postage is not considered as part of the Forever stamps, so you’ll have to wait until Zazzle/USPS upgrades the new prices if you’re mailing after the 21st. We have elected to go with the wedding USPS stamps instead–or Pixar.

I used Zazzle stamps for my Save-The-Date Cards, and was totally excited about them. But I found out, that when one of our STD’s got bounced back (the recipient accidently transposed their address number when we asked for their address, we found out later), I noticed that the post office machine canceller completely marked through the stamp, no one would have even seen the stamp detail (bummer!).

Coincidentally, I read in another thread on the board a few days ago, that you have to have the post office manually cancel them using a hand stamper, in order to see the stamp picture. Sounds like a lot of work, but if you are into the stamp thing, you might need to consider that otherwise your local post office will automatically send your envelopes through the machine, depending on the envelope weight, and the canceller will block out most of the stamp. At least thats what happened to me before I was aware of the distinction of the post office doing it manually vs their machine. Hope this helps?
