I have just gotten started on Weddingbee and I have to say that I am happily surprised at the number of DIY brides – yay!
I noticed that finding really high quality cardstock in larger sizes seems to be a recurring issue among those doing DIY invites.
I got mine at handmade-papers.us. Susan is the owner there and has over 4000 different papers and cardstocks to choose from, all gorgeous and really economical when you consider that the sheet is 20″x30″. This is big enough to cut into perfect wedding invites of any style and it works out cheaper than buying lower quality stuff at office supply stores most of the time.
I don’t have any affiliation with them By The Way, I just wanted to share a great vendor experiece that I had with my own invites. I really appreciate all the great posts by the other DIY brides and I have gotten some really good info – just trying to do my bit.
Also, if you do order, make sure you request flat pack boxing and pay the extra charge, there are no returns Susan wraps your paper in plastic so if the delivery guy drops the package while you are at work and it is pouring rain (as it was in our case) then your stuff will not be wrecked!
