We’re having a small (50-75), fairly casual, laid-back wedding. The running joke between us has been “What do you get when you cross a Jersey boy and redneck girl? We don’t know but we’re gonna find out.” So I like the idea of using that in our invites. But I’m stumped on ways to jazz up the invites without making them look too formal. Any suggestions would be helpful. Colors are plum/dark purple and sage green (they look wonky on here though).

I like the 2nd one with the swirly heart.
My suggestion would be to play with different fonts, maybe have some of your information in a sans-serif font (plain font) and then have the more important info. in the fun font to give it some contrast?
You might want to thicken up the text too so it’s easier to read. The purple could bleed when printed and the smaller text will be very hard to read. That font could be spread out a bit more too, the letters are super tight. (kerning)
