So, while waiting for my coworker/MOH this morning, I came across this little gem:
It is handmade by a local artist.
We are both sailors, so the “knot” theme is something I was considering incorporating into our invite design.
Additionally, my first initial is “K”, so that makes it rather personal.
I am debating whether to contact the artist, have the design customized to our colours, and have the inside say ” ‘G’ is for….” and have them serve as our invites
have Thank You cards made that say ” ‘G’ is for Glad You Could Join Us ” or something to that effect.
(I looked in the gallery I found them at–they had no “G” cards)
So, thoughts on what you think of that design as an invite, or how I could word them in the same style, with a G to lead off on the inside copy, or thoughts of that as a thank you card (and alternative/better suggestions for text)
