Just wondering when everyone is sending out their invitations? I’m getting married October 2, and the RSVP date is September 1 (my family is NOTORIOUS for not sending back the RSVP card!) now that they are all printed, stuffed, addressed and stamped, I’m just wondering when I should send them out? About 30% are out of province….

We’re 10.9.10. 70% of our guests will be coming in from out of town. I hope to have them prepared and in the mail no later than July 25th. Again… there are lots of out of towners… and people who aren’t the best with replying.

We’re getting married Oct 16 and I think we’ll send them out early August. They are all ready to go, just sitting in their box waiting to be taken to the post office!

I sent mine out 2 months before my wedding and set an RSVP due date about 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding. (Wedding date is July 24th, RSVP due date was July 1st)

Woo, date twins!
I am sending mine out in mid-July, with an RSVP date of August 25. The venue wants the final count one month in advance, so I wanted to give myself a few days to hunt down the non-responders (i.e. my dad’s family). We’re having a small wedding, and a large chunk of the Out of Town guests have already discussed their plans with us, and all my family is local, so I think one month should be enough time for everyone (who cares enough to be decent) to send back their RSVPs.
(I also sent my Save-The-Date Cards early in the year… February, I think. So everyone is already aware that a wedding will be happening!)
I bought one of those invitation kits and designed and printed them all the other night (with FI’s help in making sure they were centered), so now I just need to assemble and address them. I’m going on “vacation” (to my parents’) for a couple weeks in July, so I’ll do them then. Besides, the people at her post office are MUCH nicer than the people here!

We sent STD’s in February and plan to mail our invites out by mid August. The deadline on the RSVP is September 15th. We’re in production mode right now, so my Gocco has been on fire here lately!
