I heard the brides name goes first, however the way its worded does my name first make me look like the husband? Love is sweet is our theme, we are paying for the weddign ourselves, itll be pretty casual, so that is why the wording is so informal. Critics? Where yea at? 🙂

@AutumnBella: You need to be consistent about the order. If you use “husband and wife,” then it has to be “Scott & Haley.”
You are having your guests from 1-sunset and you aren’t going to feed them a meal? I would get hungry and leave!

I think it’s fine. I think typically (all $ aside) the bride’s name is listed first. I read the text and didn’t think it sounded weird at all! Go for it!

@ceebree: 1pm to no onger than 6pm…we did it that way so its not during meal time. its october so it gets dark quicker/sooner…i.m.o if people are going for the food then they dont need to come, i dont think its bad etiquette when origional wedding food was cake and punch.
and yea i thought so, just didnt know if bride had to be first like people stress. Thank you
