So, who’s upgraded? I did both my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5 tonight. It’s an adjustment, with the colors/icons but I do really like the control center.
But… I absolutely HATE the album art taking up so much space now in the Music app – it has pretty much tripled the amount of scrolling you have to do now. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? I hope that there will be a way to change it or that they take that feature away, it’s the stupidest thing ever.
Any other comments/complaints?

Haven’t upgraded yet and not sure if I want to but I’m interested in hearing responses!

I’ve been attempting to upgrade all night and succeeded in getting my phone stuck in recovery mode. Six hours left until the download is done so I can restore it.
Yeah, I don’t think I’ll try to upgrade again after this.

@Pinkmoon: I just upgraded. It’s too soon yet for me to tell whether I like it or not, but it seems okay so far.

@greenidlady: I don’t mind the rest. I’m getting used to the blinding whiteness of it. But you should check out Music and see what you think – “ugh” is all I have to say. I just downloaded Denon, another music player and I will be using that instead.

I’m waiting to upgrade until Apple’s servers are a little less overloaded, either tomorrow or Friday.

I think a lot of people need to update their iTunes to be able to upgrade.
DH has had the beta ver for a while now, not sure if he’s legit upgraded already today. Haven’t talked to him about that specifically yet.

The colours really bug me. I know the idea is to be more minamalist in style, but the neon- style colours really irritate me. I liked the previous colours- they were still bright, but not neon. I feel like the neon colours make it less sleek and more child-like. This is a personal preference of course, I’ve never enjoyed neon and now i have to look at it all the time. Its also harder to see the icons unless you have a dark background. And i think the design is better on the iphone than the ipad.
I like the extra camera features though, and the new way to exit the running programs is kind of cool, but i had to google it to figure it out!
Overall, i prefer iOS6’s design with the new features.

@Pinkmoon: Okay, I will do that. I don’t have much music on it though, most of it is on my computer and iPod.

I love it so far. I like how clean and simple the new design is. My favourite is the new lock screen.

I HATE how on my song list it shows songs I deleted atleast a year ago with the iCloud icon to the side to tap to redownload it. I deleted it for a reason!! Ugh

I don’t really mind it, just need to get used to it. The browser is a little different in the fact that I can’t just start typing a web page and my recent visits come up. Oh well.
I do miss the old icons. The new ones are flat and that’s not appealing to my eye. I like the old 3D ones. That’s not a big deal though.
I like the new neon colors but I feel like a lot of guys are going to think it looks too girly now.
