Where do you all think that a good meet-up location would be? I'm in Cedar Rapids.

Sounds good! I live in Des Moines but I go to Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area once a month. Also, We will be moving to Iowa City in December.
@doily: That is an AMAZING idea!!! We just moved to Michigan about a month ago and I miss Iowa SO MUCH. I grew up and lived in Davenport, the good od' QC! If you girls plan a meetup I would love to try to make it back if I can!! If nothing else, let's keep this Iowa board alive and kickin!!

@Faellie: So far it seems like most of us are in Eastern Iowa!!! So most likely it will be on our side of the state! Yay! I hope this happens!

Woot woot for IOWA! (okay, am really getting married in IL, but it's the QC so it all counts!) I forget to check this board cause there's not many posters :( Will try to check in more!
Was back home for the holidays and found my dress! YAY!! Any suggestions for affordable bridesmaid dresses? Others have suggested Macy's and JCrew or Nordstrom...um, not so much in Iowa!
@sweetcV2B: I ended up getting my dresses through a typical bridal shop.. sorry! There are almost no good options besides DB or other bridal shops. :\
@Faellie: Thanks...yeah, I think we'll start at DB! Might be a good excuse for a road trip...hmm...Chicago or Des Moines perhaps... ;)
@sweetcV2B: Madison, WI, might be a good choice too. :) My BM dresses are the "B2" line from Jasmine Bridal.. very cute styles, check them out if you like chiffon dresses!
We got our BM dresses from DB in Cedar Rapids. They were really great there. I've heard horror stories about the one in Des Moines though, as far as customer service. If you do go to Chicago, they have a House of Bridals there, it's a great store!

I was just wondering if there was any interest in an Iowa meet-up? I know that because it's Iowa, we are all kind of spread out, but if there was enough of us, we could probably figure it out and divide it up into areas. If there is any interest....post here please!
