Story of my life. It corrects properly spelled words into absolute gibberish.

I sometimes post from my Droid, and it is completely frustrating.

My phone often inserts entire, random words at the end of other words, and, once I begin to try to correct the text, the curser usually wants to go somewhere else other than where I’m trying to place it. It takes me about ten times as long to create a comment that is about one tenth as long as the posts I can write via my laptop, and I cannot seem to break my posts into more than one paragraph when posting from my phone.

ETA: Since I always strive for accuracy in my posts, I probably should point out that my references to “ten times” and “one tenth” should be considered to be hyperbole.  However, you get the idea.

Yeah I find that when I’m on my iPhone on the Bee my phone will make the most bizarre auto corrections that aren’t even real words. For some reason it’s only on the Bee, not on any other site or any other app.

@ScenicRoute:  Bahaha classic! Nah not Apple. Just seems to be a problem with the mobile Bee site, spitting out a whole lotta gobbledygook.

Omg I hate this too. I’m going to write a sentence now and not change the autocorrect and see what it does.

So whenever you use backspace it highlighand the number of letters you’ve backspaces and adds themto to the previous word. it thenalso doesn’t understand correcting words, and thinks the new letters you’re adding onto your misspelled word are a brand new word.

Hey, look at that- the one time I wanted it to make loads of mistakes and it only made a couple. Still, it’s incredibly annoying- particularly when I want torespond properly to a question but can’t because I can’t write more than a sentence it two on here without having to correct myself every other word.

My droid posts to the bee without trouble but my ipad does the random insert of text thing- it makes me nuts!
