If you have already tried taking the battery out for a few minutes, you might need to take it in to the apple store to get it reset
@bells: You can't remove the battery from an iPhone unless you unscrew and remove the casing.
I would take it to the apple store. Usually they can diagnose problems pretty fast and they're good with handing out replacements!

Since yesterday, my iPhone will not charge. It recognizes the charger, but doesn't actually charge. I've tried two different chargers, the car charger, and the computer.
Any ideas?
Granted...it's old....It's the 3g, so there are a few models newer than mine.
