Gelaskins has amazing cases. They’ve got so many different styles and they’re durable but slim. I think you can even customize them with your own picture.

I took my phone to ghost armour to get it fully protected, front and back. I’ve had my iPhone for two years and the phone is in mint condition. I wouldn’t recommend any particular brand for cases, I just get mine off eBay because I get bored really quickly and I like to get different coloured and patterned cases for my phone. I would highly recommend ghost armour if you have it in your area, totally invisible and fully protects your phone from scratches.

I love my speck case! I shattered my old iPhone too because the case I had on it was basically purely decorative. The speck case is nice because its slim but it feels sturdy. It has a bezeled edge to protect the screen if its dropped face down.

I love my Rokbed http://www.rokform.com/cart/Rokbed-v3.html

i have it in pink, I think it looks cool, and it is very protective. It’s also made in the USA, and has accessories that you can use it (though I choose not too)

I love my Lifeproof.  I’m harder on my phone and went through two Speck cases before I made the switch.  I’ve dropped my phone in the bathtub and it was fine.  It’s not as bulky as Otterbox, either.

I just use a thin, cheap rubber/silicone case with a screen cover (got it at verizon but my old one was from target). It has a clear plastic back and rubber edges, and the most important thing is to have a bubble of rubber/material in the front so that whenever it falls the screen itself not making contact with the ground. Its basically like apple’s original bumpers but a little more sturdy. There are tons of more heavy duty cases, but I love the sleek look of my phone so I really didn’t want to cover it in some clunky case.

Cases are my major gripe about iPhones. They are so huge! I had one that was as thin as I could find on it and I broke my screen..yay..

Now I’ve got a speck one and I’m pretty happy with it. 🙂 I like that they have those candy shell ones or you can get ones that have fabric backsides with neat patterns and the like. 🙂 They’re relatively inexpensive too. I have a couple to switch back and forth depending on what I feel like.

I love my Otter Box. My husband dropped his phone off of a 15 ft ladder and it landed on tile and it was fine. No damage to the phone or case. It’s chunky but I like knowing where my phone is and the gip of the material is great in your hand. The iPhone is so slippery without it.

I’ve got an otterbox knock-off… I need the phone protection 😛 (althought the box for the 4 is I think quite a bit slimmer than the “new” one for the 5….)

@hopefloats:  I second Speck cases. You def want something that comes around the front of the phone so if you drop it face down you don’t crack the screen.

My speck case has kept my phone safe through many droppings.
