Okay… Let’s see. For fun I like playing Angry Birds, Bejeweled 2, and StoneLoops. For entertainment value (ie a laugh), I like FML and icanhascheezburger. I find the What’s On? app to be really useful since our TV doesn’t have a built in tv guide and the channel it comes on is really fuzzy. I also use iHandy Level and “Units” a lot for work stuff. Ooh and Flixster for finding out about movies and buying tickets, that’s a great app! Can you tell I’m addicted to my iPhone?!

@cecullaton: When I got my iPhone within half an hour of being home with it FI marched me out the door and back to the mall so we could buy him one! LOL! The salesgirl thought I was crazy!!!

I tend to download only free apps so I’m sure there are a lot more good ones out there that you have to actually pay for :p :

The Weather Channel (10x better than the weather app that comes preloaded)

Facebook

Google

MobileRSS (if he has a blog reader like googlereader)

CBS Sports (better than ESPNs sports center because you get live updates)

Paper Toss

Sudoku

Bubble Wrap

Pandora

Angry Birds
