Have you considered the US to Euro conversion rate?  Yesterday when I was getting Euros to prepare for my travel abroad it was $1.387 per 1 Euro.

But if her work is what you are looking for than what works for you.  But for that price and shooting times?  maybe it is different cultural for photographer’s shooting times..  How about the other photographers based in Ireland, what is their shooting time which is included with their packages?

I’m curious — what’s your timeline? We’re having our photographer start at 4 and leave at 10, and that will capture all the family shots, the ceremony the full dinner, and most of the reception.

Our package costs about the same, but it includes two photographers and a bridal portrait session. Each extra hour is $300, so her extra time fee seems good if she’ll be staying for several hours past.

Have you looked into other photographers in the area? I would do some comparison shopping with other photographers before i made my decision. I feel it is reasonable, if not a bit on the high end but still reasonable. Whether you have 30 people or 100 people that price would still be the same and if you really like her stuff then it might be worth it. You also have to take into account if your getting prints from her later, that is a lot more money you have to budget in. Not to mention they would be shipped from Ireland! In regards to the time constraint, would she be missing lots of the reception? Are you having a reception with speeches or dancing or anything that you just have to have? If not then 20 min, might just be enough time.

Well prints isn’t much of a problem as that package offers the DVD of high resolution of the photographs.  So she can just choose a lab here to print.  I’d recommend bayphoto.com or EZprints, imho.
