Hey Ladies,

Ive been looking online all morning for a wooden or iron 18" cake plate. I have only seen the traditional silver or gold cake plateaus and my wedding theme is country chic so I want something more rustic. Have you guys seen anything like what I am looking for?

I am having a really hard time finding cake stands too! I've been Ebaying like crazy, but so far nothing great. I need quite a few, too, since in addition to the big wedding cake I'm baking I'm doing a little layer cake buffet also.

This a DIY one, so you could always find a tree big enough? It's realllly rustic but kinda cute.

Those are lovely, especially the bottom one. My FH's brother is a carpenter. I think he could make this.

Hi, we're also having our reception at Pratt Place with a rustic theme. I found this cake stand at Eventures for $25 I think. Not the best picture but I think you'll get the idea....

wow these are really pretty! I was convinced I wanted milk glass (not very original but so pretty!) but after seeing these wooden ones... I am having second, third, and fourth thoughts!

It may have only been 16" I was also hoping for a little larger one. I think they are getting another one in in May that may be bigger and/or round, sorry I can't remember for sure. She's going to call me when it comes in.
