Is 1.5 hours enough for formal photos?

MrsPhilly:  My photographer recommended 1.5 hours for our pictures so that sounds very reasonable to me. We are doing our pictures after the ceremony. Our ceremony begins @ 4 and the reception begins @ 6. With the ceremony being around 20 minutes, this gives us 1.5 hours.

We did them in about a half an hour after the ceremony. No issues. 🙂 we had a small bridal party though and didn’t do any sill photos or anything.

Just keep in mmid your priorieties. I wanted family shots and friend shots so my formals were brief. But I didn’t have multiple locations. Before we entered the reception we took pictures just the two of us around the club house gardens for about an hour or so. Sometimes the really staged photos arnt worth it. Most of oura were candid. But I haven’t seen them all yet. 🙂
