I am in the process of researching paper as well. My main question would be are you DIYing your invites? Sure 100% cotton paper is gorgeous, but if your making your own, just think if there are any mistakes, they would be pretty costly. Also, I know 100% cotton paper is what they use for letterpress, so I am not sure how easy it is to work with as far as traditional printing (again, depends on what your doing with it). I think your guests will think invites are beautiful no matter what paper you use.
BUT, if you really want it and its in your budget, got for it. Whatever paper you choose I am sure will put a smile on everyone's face:)

I think I need some encouragement to be frugal...
I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to pay an extra $400 or so for 100% cotton paper. I can tell that the paper is more luxurious, but I'm pretty sure it's because I've been comparing stationery samples all morning. I doubt that any of our guests would know or care if we use 5% cotton paper instead of the 100%, but part of me feels like it's our wedding and we should get the best of everything!
Did you splurge on paper? Did anyone else notice?
