We’re having a semi-destination wedding (venue is 6 hours from where we live and NOT in our hometown) so I’ve hired a wedding planner/day of coordinator to help me with things. She is taking care of ALL our decor (with mine and FI’s input of course) as well as our flowers.
Our decor plan includes ALL decorations, flowers (bouquets, centrepieces, Boutonnieres, etc) and our candy/dessert table (cupcakes, candy, cookies etc. EVERYTHING on the dessert table) as well as a lemonade stand and open-air photobooth where the photos are NOT printed off for guests (we are provided with a disc afterwards). The total for all of this is $2,200 (then an extra $1,000 for her services on the day of and putting together this decor plan).
Is this a good deal? At first I was like “whoa, that’s a lot of money!” but when I got to thinking about it it didn’t seem like that much considering it includes all our flowers and our dessert table (we’re not having a cake).
Thoughts? Just want to make sure I’m not paying way more than I have to 🙂
