I’ll be 28 and my SO will be 42 so I hope it isn’t too old 😛

I don’t think it’s too young either… seems a pretty good age.

I was 25 when I got married, 15 days before my 26th birthday. I don’t think you’re too old or too young.

@heavenslight:  28 isn’t generally considered too young in my social circle.  Anything post 24 is considered appropriate.  And you’re never too old to get married.  Wink

@heavenslight:  First time I was 21, married for 4 years. Second time will be next year, I will be 36. I was definitely too young the first time, but if anyone had told me that it would’ve fallen on deaf ears. Live and learn.

I think whenever you feel ready to make the commitment, then that is the perfect age for you. Everyone’s different!

I’ll be 31, and I have gotten comments about why we waited so long?  So, 28 is too young, and 31 is too old apparently?!  Just goes to show, that you can’t please everyone no matter what you do, so why even bother? 🙂

I think it totally depends on the person/couple. In my area if someone isn’t married by 23 everyone starts talking about what might be wrong with them and why no one will marry them, followed by countless date set ups (I’ve seen this happen a few times lol). I’ll be married at 21 and the majority of our family members got married at 21.

I don’t think it’s too young or old, as long as you feel confident and ready for the commitment you will be making! I was engaged at 24 and I will be married at 26. It usually depends more on your maturity level than your age IMO.

It would’ve been too young for me. I’ll be in my early 30s. For someone else, I think it’s a just fine age to get married, if everything else also fits.

I’m getting married at 30, my fiance is younger than me at 27 and I think that all that matters is if you both feel that you’re ready.  Growing up I always thought I wanted to be married at 25, when I hit 25 (even though I was single at the time) I realized that there was no way I was ready to get married, however, one of my friends just got married at 25 and she was ready.  Everyone is different and no one has the right to tell you that you’re too old or too young.
