Technically… yeah. Does that have to matter? Not in the least. if you want a 10-year-old flower girl, then go for it. I know you are already fairly untraditional so I don’t think anyone is going to blink an eye.

No it’s not too old.  We’re having a “flower/ring” girl and she’ll be almost 9 at the wedding.

I don’t think so…girls love wearing pretty dresses regardless of age, and I think it will be nice to have a flower girl who you can actually direct.

I don’t think so. My flower girl (and half-sister) will be nine at our wedding. She’ll still look super cute and is SO excited about dressing up!

    Yes, technically.

I have a cousin who is too old be a flower girl and in my opinion too young to be a junior bridesmaid. Instead she is accompaning the young ring bearer down the aisle and really doesn’t have a title. She gets a pretty dress and to be in the wedding…who cares what she is called. 🙂

I think that your son should get the honor of not having to share the spotlight with a little girl not of “equal” stature in the family.

I don’t think 9 is too old at all. I always thought under 10 was good, so right at 10 is fine too. :p I think of Jr BMs between 11-15 I suppose.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  Oh well in that case then definitely do the little girl he wants, regardless of her age!  🙂

My sister was 8 at the time of my wedding & she was a flower girl! So no, I don’t think it is.
