You should try taking a piece of string or a strip of paper and measuring how many millimeters are on the top of your finger. That ring you posted will probably be around 17mm wide. It is definitely going to look HUGE. But, it just depends on whether or not your style is blingy and glamorous or not. I don't think 9mm+halo is too much, but that ring actually has a double halo which will definitely look "fabulous" for lack of a better word. Lol.
I do think it's a very pretty ring. I personally have an 8mm and single halo on a size 4 finger. (Is that mastergoldcraft or lauriesarah?)
I've worked with Laurie Sarah a few times, she can customize the stone size if you're concerned about it being too much.
@moonadea: This ones by Laurie Sarah :)
@KatyElle: Thank you I think i'm going to contact her about the exact size of the ring around the halo and then decide if maybe I should get it customized. I wasn't sure if it was possible but now i know :)
I love the style of this ring! It's SO beautiful! Personally, I wear huge rings all the time, so it doesn't seem too big to me.
Since it's going to be your e-ring that you'll wear every day, you need to make sure your lifestyle & job are conducive to wearing a big ring all the time. You don't want it to get in the way of anything, or get damaged if you've got busy hands.
I Agree, I'm so in love! lol :) It doesn't seem too big to me either just looking at it but in person it could be so different, the reason for my worry. I have contacted her though so once i get the exact measurements so figuring things out from there will be easier. But I truly love it so I hope I don't have to have it customized. Fingers Crossed :)
WOWOW! this ring is soo pretty!
For me it would be too big and get in the way of things, but that is just me!
there's no such thing as too big :) your finger/your eye gets used to the size. so if you love it - don't worry ab the size and go for it!

First post!
So I'm not engaged yet but the bf and I have been looking at rings and I'm so in love with this one but I'm worried it might be too big. I LOVE big but I don't want it to start overlapping my fingers or something(worst fear! lol) I have small hands but a size 7 finger and the stone(Aquamarine) itself is 9mm about 1.80cts. What do you think? If you've got a ring about this big and a size 7 finger id love to see a pic :) Thank you!
