If anyone asked where it was from would you be embarrassed saying it’s from Wal Mart?

As long as it has the certificate saying its real and you like it, who cares where it came from? A ring that is what you want is more important than where the tag says its from.

As long as you like it, I don’t think Walmart is a problem. A lot of people tend to judge though, so I would avoid mentioning where it’s from. If it’s beautiful, why should it matter where you got it?

I think as long as you’ve seen it and like it, it doesn’t matter where it comes from.  I’m sure Walmart has some nice ones especially if they have certificates.  I have also seen some extremely poor quality stones there; they are much smaller than your e-ring though and so bad that they look cloudy neon green.  Yours looks beautiful though.

Ya my ring was 1/6 of what a coworker paid at a local jeweler and so much nicer. Shopping around is critical. One day you can always upgrade. Just keep in mind walmart does not have the same warranties as other jewelers so you will need to pay probably for yearly irodium platting if it’s white gold but at that price who cares really.

I would be wary of the quality of the setting, if the stones are secure, etc, but as long as its good there, no big!

Zales and Kay aren’t exactly known for being high quality either…

It’s not really anyone’s business where your engagement ring comes from. Who cares, as long as you like it? I’ve never been asked where mine comes from – is it a thing to ask?

The only thing I will say is that hearing someone got an e-ring from Wal-Mart makes me think of that girl on Teen Mom whose boyfriend got her a ring from Wal-Mart, but I suspect there is a quality difference, ha.

BTW, my e-ring & wedding band that I lost was both from walmart. The e-ring came with a certifcate also.

I had no problem telling people where it was from! It was J in color SI in clarity but was eye clean with one small carbon speck that only I could see after having it for months staring at it. lol

Nothing wrong with it at all. It’s nobody’s business where your ring comes from and they have no business asking you where it comes from anyway. Before FH and I found moissanite we were looking at a ring from Walmart.

I’ve seen some really pretty rings at Walmarts all over the place.
