PonkiHoneyBee:  Don’t change it because of a weddingbee thread. I’m sure your guests will think it’s beautiful. I think it looks great, especially if you are going to have a late evening reception and use candles.

PonkiHoneyBee:  Please don’t be so insecure that you change your plans based on anyone’s opinion, including this poll.

Don’t second guess any of the choices that you’ve made, because honestly, no one obsesses over every detail of a wedding the way we do on this board. Think of how many ring styles are there and how one person doesn’t like what another loves.  We’re all soon-to-be-brides or brides who think we have all the answers but it’s YOUR DAY.  Go with what you love.

We used mirrors in our centerpieces and they looked beautiful. Don’t second guess yourself!

I can’t believe one person’s ridiculous opinion would make you doubt your centerpieces….

That thread is full of OPINIONS. Nobody on there is the wedding authority. Do you see some of the things people listed? Stuff that isn’t even decor.

Everything will be dated…mermaid dresses, tulle stuff, mason jars, rustic stuff. You have to pick things because YOU love them and not because of some person’s opinion on the INTERNET.

I used circular mirrors under my centerpieces and they didn’t look “dated”

I did mention the glass under centerpieces but my one opinion shouldn’t have any influence on you, I’m just an internet stranger so who cares what I think?  As PP menrioned, the thread is full of opinions. The only opinion that really matters is yours and your FI’s.

PonkiHoneyBee:  I’ve seen it done and I think it’s beautiful! As other PP’s have said, don’t change it because of WB, if you love, go for it!

PonkiHoneyBee:  I plan to use mirrors too because we are using candle centerpieces and it will help make it brighter in the room. Did not know, nor do I care that it might look dated.

    BTW~ I LOVE your centerpiece!

Mirrors have never been my thing, but it’s your wedding not mine. Do you love the look? If you do, that’s all that matters.

in some cases they work, in some cases they don’t.

is your wedding outside during the day? then i would say don’t use the mirrors because the sun could reflect off of them into someone’s eyes.
