I can’t decide if a necklace is necessary with my dress. I’m leaning against it because I have a habit of playing with necklaces when I wear them, even more so when I’m anxious. The reason why that’s a problem is that my neck turns blotchy and red whenever I do it. I don’t do it consciously and even when I realize I’m doing it, I keep doing it anyway. No one wants a blotchy red neck in pictures!
I’m thinking of just getting bigger earrings to off set it. Right now I’m planning to do m hair half up, but if it ends up being hot or it rains on our wedding at I mamy put my hair up.
My dress is the Maggie Sottero Mia. I’m not using the sash bow, but instead replacing it with a belt.
I’d love your feedback! I don’t have a picture of myself saved in the dress.

The dress is gorgeous. If this were my dress I probably would not wear a necklace. I would just do a bracelet and earrings. If you do decide to wear a necklace, I would do something dainty. Let the dress shine without distraction.

@Janineforever: +1. The bust has so much beutiful detail that a necklace will just pale in comparison and/or take away from it. If you want lots of bling, I think a nice bracelet would work

I don’t think you have to wear a necklace. My dress has lots of beading on the bodice, like yours, and I’m not wearing a necklace because it’s already so “blingy” up there from the dress

There’s so much going on with that dress that you definitely don’t need a necklace!
Fabulous earrings would be great, though!

I think a necklace would actively detract from the gorgeous bodice of your dress. Get some statement earrings (or just really pretty earrings, whatever!) and call it a day!

I would also just go with dangly earrings. I tried that dress on and the bodice is gorgeous on its own.

Thank you for your help! I ‘m not a big accessories person so I wasn’t really sure! I feel better about not having a necklace!
