That freaks me out. I’m a planner. I like to have specific things in place. Not to say that I wouldn’t be thrilled – I want our house finished and time to spend as a married couple maybe late 2013 or early 2014. I don’t want to be too old either. I’m 32 this year.

I think it’s not really an “oops” baby if you’re both okay with the possibility. 🙂

I think it’s fine! My FI thinks it’s cute when a baby is an accident/surprise haha

FI and I are doubled up on BC methods until marriage. After that, we’ll be pill only and any “oops” that happens will be welcomed by us.

We’ll start TTC in about 2 years.

I second the thought that if you both want to be parents, the ‘oops’ is really an amazing blessing. 😉 Here’s to hoping!

Absolutely. We’d be thrilled with an oops! We’re to the point in life that if it happened, we’d be fine… we’d just have to move up our timeline (for owning a home) a little bit. I kinda hope it happens that way just so we don’t have the stress of actually TTC.

I think an “oops” baby would be fine… Sure, I would be shocked and a little upset that things happened out of *our* planned order – but I think that would quickly turn to excitement and happiness!

It always makes me happy to see my FH hold and play with babies… lots of fun times ahead of us!

We are still avtively avoiding it, but if it happened, it wouldn’t be the end of the world for us.

My husband and I were in that boat – I stopped taking BC when we got married and we kind of relied on the POM as our only form of BC. We were both at the point where we were thinking about babies more and more and probably wren’t too far away from throwing all protection out the window and going for it. We actually had talked about having one last “hoorah”before actually trying for babies. We booked a trip to the carribean with another couple in February (the trip was in June) and figured after the trip we would revisit the idea of trying for real. I found out I was pregnant in April haha and 3 days after he got laid off from his job – so our one last hoorah didn’t happen. We still went on our trip and had an amazing time and we couldn’t be more excited about this baby even though it wasn’t exactly planned. I’m due in January 🙂 I’m actually really glad it happened this way and I didn’t have to deal with the potential stress of trying – I know how fortunate we are to be blessed with such an amazing surprise. it was something we both really wanted from the get go it was just a matter of when at that point.
