Is anybody doing a diaper raffle?

My Mom wants to do a diaper raffle and include it in with the invitations. I'm wondering if it's tacky or if I'm over analyzing. We would do a prize up to $50, not sure what yet.

I've been to a shower with a diaper raffle, I think it's a great idea! You don't have to participate if you don't want to, so if people don't like it they don't have to do it. The mom got tons of diapers, and I won a $10 gift card to Starbucks :) They gave out 3 different $10 gift cards.

My mom is doing a diaper raffle at my shower this weekend. I've never been to a shower with a diaper raffle, so I'm curious to see how it goes. And I'm very excited to get a crapload of diapers. :)

My mom worded it in the invitation something like, "optional fun for the shower" so that guests know it's not mandatory. She's giving out two wax warmers as prizes.

I'm going to a shower that has a diaper raffle this weekend... I've never been to one that had one before but I did not think it was tacky when I got the invitation, if that helps. It seemed optional. They also asked for your favorite childhood book in lieu of a card, which I thought was cute.

My mom did a diaper raffle for my shower and pretty much everyone participated. She offered a 25 dollar gift card to Outback or something and it worked out pretty well. My work also threw me just a diaper shower (no gifts just diapers). My daughter is three months old and I haven't bought diapers yet and don't think I'll need to for quite a while.
