I think I found the dress I want to say "I do" in. When ever I think of the dress I smile! I am just curious to know if anyone else is thinking of getting this dress and how much it's costing them?

I bought the Karena... not the Karena Royale... but the Karena Royale is beatiful too! I love Maggie dresses!
Hi - after months of searching for the dress I found it with Karena Royale. it's a gorgeous dress! my "had to haves" were lace (that stood out in pictures), a bow or belt, an aline fit, and strapless. the karena royale had it all. i purchased it in canada and it was $1,215 CDN. you wont be disappointed with this dress.
Just purchased mine yesterday and I am completely in love!!! I had to pay for extra length because I am six feet tall and I paid just about $1100 with tax. Cannot wait to wear it!!
@ cantwait and Mainebride: I finally decided Karena Royale is the dress for me. It was the fourth dress I tried on, so I thought that I needed to try on more to make sure but nothing else would do. I am so happy to have it!!!!
what color bridesmaid dresses are you going with. This is definatley the dress I want but am struggling with what colors look good. I like browns but am not crazy about brown with a black tux. Thoughts???
I bought this dress! It's so beautiful. Only a few more weeks 'till it's in!! The brown one was so pretty, but it was a little too dark on me. Anyone picked a bustle type yet?
I think the brown/black would be fine. There's so many other colors going on. If you think it would really bother you...maybe take pictures of you and FI with you in a brown top and him in black pants? Haha it sounds silly but it helps me to see things like that. than you'll know if it'll really bother you or if you're just overanalyzing it!
I'm about to order this dress! Ivory over light gold. So pretty, I can't wait! Found it for $928 before tax.
I am considering this dress as well, although I'm worried that it won't fit right. I too am adding 18" to the train which is considerably more $$. It's either Karena, Karena Royal or Jasmine T282 (which fit 100 times better). HELP! I love the fit of the jasmine, the but lace of the Karena! Has anyone ordered it in a larger size so it was flow better like an A-Line? Is that even possible?

I bought this dress for 850$ (I had to bargain with the owner). ALmost everywhere they are 950-1000 at least but you can definitely talk them down. I bought the pearl rose with ivory lace and it's beautiful and a good fit.

I bought this dress for $1000 with tax. It was actually my second dress purchase because I found it after I bought my first one and I just HAD TO HAVE IT! It looks wonderful on. I am going with the brown belt. My girls colors are brown and gold and the guys will be wearing brown as well.

Ok, is anyone here getting the karena royale in ivory over pearl rose? i haven't seen any bride with that except me :(
mine's all ivory, but your colors sound SO pretty. I bet the "pearl rose" really shows off the delicate lace! I was worried the ivory on ivory would make the lace disappear, but it was enough contrast that the lace still stood out. I can't wait to see what those two colors look like together!
Thanks, littlebug. Yeah my mom really wanted me to get ivory over ivory. I had to get the pearl rose though. I'll post pics when my dress comes in. :)
YAY! I got the all ivory Karena Royale last month! :) I was going back and forth with the "pearl rose" one, but went ahead with the all ivory.
I'm going to have chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses and black tuxes. I think the ivory dress will go okay (I HOPE!!).

The ivory will look awesome with brown! I wanted brown BM dresses, too, but my FI doesn't like brown, so that went out the window. I've seen pictures of brown dresses and black tuxes, and it looks GREAT. :)

This is my dress too! I went with the ivory/gold - I'm a redhead with fair skin so the color is perfect. I am very much struggling with the veil though. I tried on a couple of lace veils and they are just too much. I'm pretty small, only 5'2" and am wearing my hair mostly down with one side pinned up with a rose. What type of veil are you going with???? Thanks!!
I just picked up my dress this weekend! I'm changing the gold ribbon to ivory, and ordering an ivory lace for the corset. The gold is a little too dark for me. But I love the dress, and I can't wait to wear it!

I'm considering buying the ivory/light gold from another bee but am concerned that it will look too yellow. I've only tried it on in the all ivory! But it's such a great deal that I'm SO tempted.
What are the opinions of the ivory/light gold??
I don't think the ivory/light gold is too yellow, said that, I've only seen it in pictures. I bought it all ivory, but only because I didn't want the gold sash, and didn't want to bother changing the sash, but if there was an option of the ivory/light gold with ivory sash, I would have gone for that! I love the contrast of it against the lace!
@jgibso27 - I don't think its too yellow at all! Of course I'm biased because that's the color I ordered :) The light gold just gives the dress a little more warmth. What I don't care for is the dark gold ribbon at the waist, which I'm changing to ivory. The corset lace comes in the light gold color, which I'm also switching out for ivory.
@CCSR - I can PM you with pics after my first fitting this weekend. And wedding in Rio? How exciting!

And yep, wedding in Rio -- my whole family is from there, so it only seemed fitting :) I'm super excited about getting all my friends from DC down there!

I've fallen completely in love with Karena Royale in ivory over light gold - but like someone else on here I'm worried about what bridesmaid colours will go with it. We're having a summer wedding and my original plan was to have lots of bright colours (maybe bridesmaids in a pattern or each in a different colour), but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that if i wear gold and lace. I really don't want to put them in brown or black - does anybody have any suggestions or pictures of bridesmaids with a bride in this dress/colour?

Once upon a time i tried the Karena Royale on. I thought it was beautiful, but i wanted a more defined fit n flare/mermaid type gown and I thought it was too loose on the bottom for my taste. It is very pretty though.

@kimmibobs: we had a very small wedding with only 20 people, so we didn't have bridesmaids/groomsmen. My mom wore a long navy blue gown though and I though it looked beautiful with my dress.

Anyone willing to part with their Karena / Karena Royale in size 12, 14 or 16? I have tried it on in the past and LOVE it and would love it as my reception dress! Not too picky on the different shades, post a msg if you're looking to sell!
I tried on the Karena Royale yesterday and absolutely loved it but couldn't pull the trigger on ordering it. Does anyone want to sell theirs? I'm looking for a size 4 or 6, preferably in the Ivory color. Thanks!
