those are pretty! but i'm leaning more toward the two piece veil so he has to lift it! lol and maybe a small bird cage veil for reception
EEEEE I am pretty sure that I may be one whenever M pops the big question lol!!! I love the birdcage bubble veils with tulle <3
love the first one though!!! i of course am not engaged yet, but i would go with a fit and flare type dress that has a lot of ruching but nothing much of anything else.... maybe a very pnina tornai-esque type dress.
I totally wanted a bubble veil! I tried to DIY one, but it looked retarded and I couldn't find one online anywhere--they were not really available 8 months ago when I needed a veil, unfortunately. Gah, I missed the trend! I think they're fun and fresh, which is why I wanted one for my ceremony. They're also called fountain veils!
I did try ONE on at this couture bridal shop. No pics though, too fancy fancy for that business. BUT, the veil was $500!!!!!!! So it wasn't even a feasible expense for me. It was more than my dress! Oye.
500?!! OMG! I didn't know it was a new trend I thought it was pretty retro! I am surprised by the fact that the older I get the more girlie I get!
Cute -- I especially like the first pic. =) I probably won't do a bubble veil (It would mess with the daisy "crown" I plan on wearing...but I like the look of them!
I am hoping that it is chic and fun. I see them with sheath and tea length dresses. My dress is lace over organza, no beading, sweatheart neck and then flares out past the hip..not a mermaid or trumpet. It's pretty simple but I fell hard for it.
@Jenniphyr: I almost wore a crown of butterflies. I *love* that look!
@Crebre80: I LOVE that veil!! save that photo for that folder you will be needing :)
Dear, I should have posted my dress before... here it is!
no pix... lol i have that pic and another saved in my folder. as a matter of fact i have different folders saved for different color schemes! lol!! i'm going to blame it on the fact that i'm an event designer and i get paid to be obsessive compulsive about all things weddings!!
pinwheels: haven't bought my dress yet, but I am looking at lace & organza, sweetheart neck, A-line-ish dresses - and I would love to rock a bubble veil! I would love to see a pic of your dress and your complete "look" once you've decided on a veil!
crebre80: I love sara gabriel veils - I have like half the website in my inspiration folder
@pinwheelspoprocks: love that dress!! one of my faves is very similar to that one! i think great minds think alike!!
@peanutlovespumpkins: aren't they great?! i would totally get someone off of etsy to make them though!
Oh I love the first bubble veil. How Cute!! It took me so long to find the "perfect" veil and this is what I went with, and loved.
Wait. What is a bubble veil? ... It looks like a waterfall veil I saw once.
First of all, your dress is GORGEOUS. I think either of those veils would look beautiful, but I have to say, I lean towards the first one like some of the other people who already posted! How will you be wearing your hair? That might make a difference on how you feel about it.
I love the veil! I tried one but it looked kind of goofy on me (I think it's because I have a big head!). But if it works for you I say GO FOR IT!
I think bubble and waterfall are synonymous
The one i tried on was from a "couture" shop (blegh, sorry too much money!) and had russian tulle and netting and silk tulle and was super fancy. I just couldn't appreciate the luxuriousness of it, I guess! It was awesome though! I loved it.
thanks everyone! I ended getting this one which I felt was kind of in between the super shorter bubble and the longer veil. The veil is by etsy seller BellaBridalVeils. They totally sold me on the scalloped edges and buttefly design (as they describe it). Looking forward to seeing it on a head
OMG Pinwheels!! I could kiss you!! That is a BEAUTIFUL veil! AND they're CHEAP!!
Ah can you tell I'm excited? lol
Thank you so much for posting!
Those are so pretty! I still haven't made my veil... I may have to try that birdcage-esque one!
The 2nd picture is gorgeous. P.S. I didn't know there's different types of tulle! Lol. Who knew? This is my dream veil. I love ones with loottts and lots of volume.

i am wearing a veil for the ceremony only and I am loving the bubble veil. They are so fun and girly. However I am not sure if it is a perfect match with my dress. I am awaiting one I bought on etsy that the seller will let me return.
Has anyone else chosen a bubble veil? If so, what does your dress look like? If you have photos that would be fantastic!
