I signed up to many wedding web sites after I got engaged.. and… well on the 6th of each month I get email reminders “9 months to go, 8 months to go” (we’re getting married October 6th) – don’t ask why my profile says July lol
Regardless.. when I get these emails I think I’m going to have a panick attack I suddently start going over everything that still isn’t done yet.. and I want to cry..
I’m a perfectionist.. and I know that me and every other bride wants their wedding to be perfect but I’m sure something will go wrong.. and UGH I wish I could control it.
I feel like I just had 16 months to plan a wedding! now I have less than 8

@mags2233: I hear you! I had well over a year when I first became engaged. I can’t believe our wedding date is less than 8 months away. It’ll be here before we all know it. Very excited.

To make things worse!!! we bought a house (closed on it on January 20th) so the last few weeks we have spent fixing it up, then I have to move.. so trying to plan things and do house things is so difficult! especially since we both work full time.
I’m reading some of the other posts of what people got done last month and I’m sitting here thinking to myself “OH CRAP” – didn’t do that yet.. didn’t do that either.
I just know that 3 months out I WILL BE A WRECK LOL

I totally sympathize, when we hit the 6 months away mark a few weeks ago… Well I went bananas, my poor fiance, thankfully pulled up his socks and I’ve actually done more in the last 3-4 weeks than the entire 14 months before that combined. I’m still freaking out but a little less each day… My hope is that I can get enough stuff done early, like centre pieces and favors that I won’t be losing my mind a week before the wedding…

@mags2233: I have moments like that but I have to remember to tell myself that at the end of that day, I will be Mrs. Cameron and what eer happens, it will be fine as long as that dream becomes a reality

I have started having dreams that its all gone wrong, dresses don’t fit everything runs late guests dont show and (my biggest fear) It all gets cancelled because we didn’t pay in time. My Fiance says don’t worry but he lost his job and doesn’t have a new one yet and I hate oweing out money debt is a big pet peeve of mine
On the upside I am planning for all the scenario’s I dream of so if my venue burns down takeout in a bar….. 🙂

Totally had my first wedding nightmare the other day! Somehow it still made me excited to wear my dress and walk down the aisle 🙂

I feel you too, I’ve got 7 months to go and the groom is still in another country >.<!!!

and now I’m closer to 6 months.. and still haven’t made any progress since I posted this.
I’ve had a few reoccuring nightmares – I forgot to book a hair and make up person.. my dress was about 4 inches too short… and I forgot to buy shoes!
So I decided to walk down the aisle bearfoot without make up and my hair dripping wet lol
same dream every few weeks or so

I am totally starting to get realllllly excited! This is probably because we booked our honeymoon, registered, and my bachelorette party is being booked by my bridesmaids now. My fiance and I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by.

I had my first wedding nightmare last week. I guess I must be getting a little more stressed. The time sure is flying by.

@jko108: I shouldn’t say that I didnt make any progres.. we did our registry last month.. and we booked our honeymoon.. maybe I’ll just keep on thinking of the honeymoon that will relieve some stress. HOPEFULLY!

@mags2233: Stop freaking out. It will give you wrinkles. Perfection = wrinkles. Relax

@shamieya: I try to be a perfectionist.. and that does cause wrinkles!!!!! I know something won’t go the way it’s supposed to I just hope my reaction to it isn’t scary
