@reneynay: considering Sat the 26th. A friend of mine suggested it and I obviously need to check with people, but most of our invites are local.
My concerns are actually the cost of travel and hotel, as well as restaurant availability since I want to do a restaurant reception. Part of off season is the cost savings, and they might not be there that weekend :)

I feel like Im the only one with my Sunday Thanksgiving weekend wedding. It never even occurred to me that this might be an issue for people. I just assumed that since thanksgiving was on Thursday people wouldn't mind coming to my wedding on Sunday. Does anyone else feel like this is an etiquette nono? And if you are getting married on this date what things do you have left to do?
