Aww!! I had this same fear! Everyone kept asking me if I was nervous in the weeks before the wedding, and I kept saying yes and no! I was nervous about falling on my face, not actually becoming a married woman! All that I can say to ease your mind is keep your eyes on the prize! I don’t remember anything about walking up the aisle (could be contributed to how tightly my corset was tied!), I fixed my eyes on my future hubby and made a run for it =) Every pic that I’ve seen so far I’m looking straight ahead, my eyes locked on Fiance. I remember sitting down on the altar and then having to look around to “find” people in the church because I didn’t see anyone while I was coming up the aisle!

@JRL2012:  I’m so nervous too.  I really wanted a backyard wedding so that i wouldn’t have to walk down a huge aisle with a 120 people staring at me.  I will have to keep @marylandnurse’s adivce in mind!

This was the one thing I was super nervous about! I had a ballgown and heels and I had to walk up about 10 stairs to get to my place at the end of the aisle. I had actual nightmares about it. In the end, it was no big deal, and thankfully I didn’t trip…but my mom lost her shoe on her way up there. She was wearing flats, too! 🙂

I was so nervous about everyone looking at me, but at the time I didn’t even see any of them or think about it. I just looked at Darling Husband up there! It all goes so fast you hardly have time to think about it. The coordinator told me to go slow because everyone wants to rush–I think I was just trying to focus on not going to too fast.

I remember looking at people–friends and family on “my” side of the aisle — while I was walking down the aisle…and seeing the absolute love and joy on their faces for getting to share in the celebration with me. It’s a special memory that I’ll cherish forever.

I am soooo nervous about this, yes. I’m walking down by myself and we’re going to end up with about 100 people there as well. Any time I start to think about it I actually get the shakes I get so nervous, and my wedding is not for another 6 months!! I don’t know how I’m going to actually do it when the time comes. No advice here lol but I can definitely empathize.

You and I feel the same way!  This is my BIGGEST wedding fear.  We’re only having around 50 guests, but I am terrified.  I get mini-panic attacks already, and it’s still seven months out.  I’m probably going to have to take something to calm my nerves before the ceremony.

I had a mini panic attack last night about this. We’re less than two weeks out now and it feel so surreal. I HATE being the center of attention. I love acting in front of crowds and never get nervous… but when it’s me…. I’m a pansy! I intend to down a little something at lunch that day to help.
