I’ve seen the ads on TV but never thought to look into them. Are the DVD’s expensive?

I am so glad to see someone loves it! I have been wanting to try it so bad but haven’t gotten up the nerve. Are you doing a class or the dvds?

I used to do Jazzercise, but the location that was five minutes from my house was closed since the enrollment was low.  The next nearest site would have been 30 miles of driving both ways.

Are there all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) in one Zumba class?

I’m going to my first Zumba class tomorrow!  The gym offers it here MWF, but at 0500.  On Satrudays it’s at 4pm.  Can’t wait to try it out.

Have you noticed a difference?

I love it too!  Unfortunately, the centers I have around me don’t have a schedule that jives with mine :/

I am into p90x! I started it about 8 days ago. (Today would be my 9th day). And OMG! in just 8 days I can feel and see a difference in my body. It is H-A-R-D to follow and feels incredibly lonnnnnnng at times but definitely can ‘feel’ the results. I cannot wait to see what happens after the first 30 days.

I have a broken wrist so I cannot do a lot of the moves as directed where you are doing push-ups, etc. So I lay my hand down all the way to he elbow or do lopsided ones but still can feel the difference already! Laughing

I tried zumba and just could not get into it – maybe its because I am the most uncoordinated person in the entire universe. I wish that it would have gone better becasue it sure would have been a fun way to work out lol. I think I will get back into p90x

You have no idea how excited this post made me. I am seriously obsessed with Zumba!  I have already lost 14 lbs and I have gained a lot of confidence. When I go to zumba I don’t feel like I am working out.

@Sasha2011: I am considering trying p90x, do you need any thing other than weights? I don’t want to have to spend $150 on the dvd’s then have to buy a bunch of other stuff that will take up space.

@LetsGoPens – where do you go for zumba?  I’m a pittsburgh-er too!
