@Demi-chan:  Perhaps you’re purging the toxins? I heard it happens, especially with a change in diet.

Acne on your cheeks is usually because of something digestive. This happened to my skin last year and took a few months to clear up. Keep eating healthy and working out because your body is probably purging the toxins. Also, some things that worked for me were taking a zinc supplement every day and frequently putting on a raw honey with cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon mask. I totally feel your pain – I had the same exact type of acne and had to battle with post acne marks, but keep taking care of yourself and it will get better!

I once got told that toothpaste was good for helping spots to go away – just dabbing a bit on the spot does seem to have helped when I’ve tried it, but not sure about how good it is for the skin! It was my beautician who recommended it though, so it can’t be too awful.

@Demi-chan:  I was breaking out like crazy for months.  Normal for me was the chin are which is hormonal but then I started breaking out on my forehead and cheeks….it was awful.  I ordered Proactive 3 weeks ago and have been using it for 2 weeks and HOLY CRAP! No like my skin looks flawless.  I didnt think it would work for me since I have tried nearly everything on the market but it did! I am so happy!  It is so smooth and less red.  I still some dark spots on my chin area where I used to break out a lot but they are starting to go away.  If you arent allergic to Benzoyl peroxide I suggest trying it out.  They have a money back guarantee.

@Demi-chan:  I ended up getting pimples in the lead up to the wedding I think because of the stress, it wasn’t fair! It was the last thing I needed after in full stress mode everyday for 4 weeks. It was annoying because even good makeup can’t cover raised surfaces. You can see uneven skin surface on photos easily, unless of course it is photoshopped out 🙂

I have definitely noticed a huge change in my skin because of the wedding… I have been breaking out on my chin, forehead, even chest and back (which even through puberty I never experienced). It has been awful. I’ve tried drinking a lot more water, exfoliating my chest and back. I just went a got a facial for the first time and that seems to have helped a ton also! I’m just going to go back to using ProActiv for the next few weeks to get me through the wedding..

I have been breaking out a little more than usual, I think it is probably related to wedding stress.  I have just really been trying not to touch my face and sticking to my skin care regimin and that does seem to be working.

Also there is awesom face mask that you can get at Sephora and I feel like everytime I use it it makes everything 10x better.  http://www.sephora.com/tingling-exfoliating-mud-mask-P375741?skuId=1463801

My skin has never been this bad…ever!  My dermatologist has been trying to get it under control, not even a mix on antibiotics and topical creams aren’t working.  I’m thinking trying pro active, I’m hoping to get a facial soon too. Good luck Hun

@Demi-chan:  I had bacne. The Clindamycin topical cream my dermatologist prescribed cleared it right up.
