Our postman normally comments on the number of parcels we get.

Haha, I think our UPS person had a feeling something was up when something started showing up every other day in the time before our wedding!

Yes! Plus i have to have everything shipped to my office since I’m not home all day, so everyone is work is like “Oh look, Siobhan got 12 more packages today”

Most of the time the delivery guy will even come get me and take the packages straight to my car. Now that’s service!

I ordered a lot of stuff for the apartment because we pretty much had nothing, and FI’s family sent a lot of Christmas gifts from Amazon.  The UPS guy was here a lot.  It’s almost embarassing because I work second shift so I am always here when he has a delivery.

One day I slept in later because I was at work late.  I eventually heard him knocking and answered the door.  His response “I knew you had to be here, you’re always here!”  I think I need to tell him my work schedule or something!  lol

At my old apartment the couple that had just moved out got married a few weeks after leaving. I know this because after the 10th or so Target package we got for them I searched their names on the registry list and saw it on there. Apparently they never updated their address on the registry because people kept sending it to us. I got to know the UPS guy as well as the customer service people pretty well since I had to keep calling to get stuff returned.

No, our wedding is making the UPS man my FMIL’s worst enemy… he always puts the heaviest boxes directly in front of the door and she can’t open it!

She seriously threatens (and tries!) to chase him down and tell him to leave them somewhere else, or else she’ll beat him up hahaha

We get them delivered there because it’s safest, and also because we’re moving to her second floor in a week? :

Lol, this was SO me last year. I had a package every other day it seemed, since everything from our wedding was from etsy. I miss getting packages! Lol

I should also add that it was *slightly* embarrassing, because Im ALWAYS home, since I work from home, and he’d always show up at around 8:45am, after I just got my husband and son out the door so I was still in my Pjs most times. He must have thought I just sat around the house in my pjs doing nothing all day! Lol

@MelBan:  it got to the point where my dog didn’t even bark anymore when he came. Even if the door was open and her little gate was up (–sometimes we used to put her in the laundry room and leave the door open for fresh air but with the gate up.)

Anyway, sometiems I would step in to the laundry room and new packages would be sitting there. I mean, the UPS could have come in and murdered me or stolen my little girl and she didnt utter a peep!

I know! I am getting packages nearly daily now. (BM accessories, honeymoon clothes, last minute DIY projects!) and I am also home during the day since I work nights and always in PJs when I get the door. I’m never sure which package it will be so I feel like it’s a little present everytime. Today it was rehearsal dinner dress and bathing suits for honeymoon.
