(Closed) Is anyone fluent in French?

@crh1729: i’m a little rusty, but essentially..


1. fold a piece of a aluminum paper over until you get a strip approx 1.5-2cm in width

2. wrap it in ribbon as in the image

3. run over both sides with an iron

4. pull out the strip of aluminum paper

5. sew up one of the sides with ribbon

6. spread out the fabric on the other side so it ressembles petals

7. roll it up and then finish it off with some glue or thread


.. a little vague, but combined with the photos, hopefully enough to figure it out!

fold aluminum foil multiple times to obtain a long band (about 1.5 to 2 cm wide)

wrap ribbon around it

gently iron the ribbon (guessing to make it retain its shape)

remove the aluminum foil

sew one side of the ribbon (all along the length of it)

open the other end to look like a petal

roll up the whole thing and sew the end or put a drop of glue

rejoice in knowing that you’ve just made a rose!


edit: you beat me to it by 6 secs!
