If you are going what are the details?  My friends and I are trying to figure out where to go, majority of the gals want to go to Vegas. Part of me wants to go to Vegas but the other part doesn't.  My FI is going Fly fishing and golfing for his Bachelor party.

I'm going to Las Vegas for my bachelorette party tomorrow!  I have no idea what we're doing, because everything is supposed to be a surprise for me, but I'll give you some details when I get back.

Plannet Hollywood.  The rooms are actually really nice.  The clientel tends to be younger, (more of a youthful vibe).  it's a newer hotel, (completely remodeled from the old Aladin), so everything is nice and sparkly.  It's in the middle of the strip so it's convenient.  And it's always reasonably priced.  Only thing I dont know about is the pool.  Haven't been.

I've never been to Vegas and would love to go.  Have you seen Hangover yet?  I saw it last night and it is hil.ar.i.ous. :)

It's a great time to go to Vegas right now because airfare and hotels are so cheap...the economy has affected the pricing. One of my friends just had her bachelorette in Vegas and it was a blast--we went to see Thunder From Down Under and we all wore crazy wigs. We stayed at The Luxor for $100/room with double Queen beds.

However, even with lower prices, expect that some of your party will not be able to attend because airfare, hotel, food, drinks, and events are too expensive for them. For me, I'd rather have all my girls at my party than go to Vegas.

I always said that I would want mine there, but we are going this weekend for my BF's cousin's wedding and then we're getting married this October with a million things to do in between.  So I doubt I will get to go.  =(

But I was just looking at this yesterday....

I went to vegas!  LOVED IT!  I'm not big into "clubbie clubs" and we went to the Love Revolution Lounge in the Mirage... I loved it!  It wasn't as sweaty as most clubs, more loungey. And since you'll be in a big group of girls, you'll probably go to the front of the line and get in free... woop!

The hotel deals right now are amazing because of the economy!  Mr. Peng and I just stayed in the Wynn for Fri-Sun for $150 per night. It was awesome!

My biggest piece of advice is to GET A CABANA at the pool during the day.  They can be pricey, but split between 10-20 girls, it's a drop in the bucket. The Cabanas at the Monte Carlo (where we stayed) were $200... very cheap as far as cabanas go (split between 12 of us, it was around $20ish per person). You'll stay cool, have your own waiter, and will be able to hang out at the pool all day even if it's boiling hot!  Usually when we go hang at the pool, we get so hot that we hcan only stay out there for a little bit... and that really disperses the group during the day. That was my favorite part... the cabana!

FYI, if you go to any of the club's websites and find out who the promoters are for the club, they will put you on their VIP list for free. no line and no cover.  Also, during the day in vegas you'll get approached by a million club promoters wanting to put you on lists, (especially a large group of girls).  Don't pay to be put on lists as part of vacation packages.  they are giving you something that's already free.

WOW sounds like a lot of fun stuff!  My problem is I don't want to fork over the money to go since I don't have much after having to pay for lots of things for the big day.  I also won't allow my friends to pay for plane ticket or hotel although they have offered.  They can buy me drinks though.  The FI doesn't really want me to go, just not a lot of other things for us to do besides go up to the mountains which we have done soooooo many times!

6 of us guys are going to Las Vegas the weekend of October 24. If you are going that weekend, would you be interested in combining parties to share the costs of a fantasy suite at the Palms.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow.  This is my second of three bachelorette parties.  We are staying at Mandalay Bay because it has an awesome pool area.  I will let you know how the weekend turns out.

I would really, really love to do this, but my bridesmaids aren't interested. They bailed on our NYC trip planned for this weekend, so now I'm not really expecting anything. I would totally go to the Luxor though - I love Egyptian stuff.

We went to Vegas for a friend's bachelorette party! 3 days of sun, laying out, walking around, and bars! It was nothing crazy but it's one of the BEST memories I've ever had with everyone! it was insanely fun

DO IT! When else will you get a chance to party up with your girlfriends?

From my own experience, I would only go there when it's warm enough to lay by the pool. It gets really really boring if you aren't a gambler. The shopping there is amazing and there are really great deals on everything.

I have never been, but a girlfriend who just got engaged wants to go for her bachelorette party (they got engaged in Vegas). It is still a while off, but I'd love to hear your experiences, especially with an average price so I know how much to save! :)

I've been to 3 bachelorette parties in Vegas and LOVED them all!  It's just soooooooooo fun to hang out with your girlfriends for a weekend in Sin City.  It really is the ultimate bachelor/bachelorette party place!

Our itinerary usually consists of laying out by the pool, drinking, buffets, some gambling, Chippendale or Thunder from Down Under show, and of course, CLUBBING!  Vegas has the BEST clubs anywhere... if you haven't tried it, it's a must-do (before you settle down and get married and pop out kids and whatnot, lol).  The latest one we went to was Bank at Bellagio, which was AMAZING.  Also, Tryst at the Wynn, Jet at the Mirage, and Tao in the Venetian are great!

As for buffets, definitely check out the Bellagio and Wynn buffets-- YUMMY!!!  :)

I had big plans for all us girls to go to Vegas but I could barely even get anyone out to go to Hollywood for a night! And I'm not one to insist, esp. in this economy!

Well my bachelorette party in Vegas last week was great.  I could not have asked for a better time with my girlfriends.  Not wild but laying by the pool, alot of good eating, saw a couple shows (Love and Peepshoe) then did a road trip to Hoover Dam.  It was about hanging out together and it was wonderful.  I would recommend Mandalay Bay for hanging by the pool.

I really considered it - especially after the hangover. But coming from Miami with 8 girls is not cheap - at least $400 for flight and hotel. Dont think everyone could swing that - so I'd prefer a weekend cruise to the Bahamas for $200 ( but I have no recent passport since I am waiting till name change to renew it :( ) But if you are close by - its a great time! But I would like several people at mine - so I rather do something a bit more affordable for everyone :) including myself!

great to hear all the positive feedback. I'm helping my mate and his partner organise their bachelor and bachelorette party for when we head over mid October this year.

On his side of things, theres about 5 of us guys heading over from Australia. If anyone feels like catching up for a bit of a combined Aussie Bachelor / USA Bachelorette party one night while we're all there...feel free to drop me a line.

Nothing like an international drinking battle between the sexes.

I'm not going for my bachelorette party, but my girl friends and I have gone for weekend trips (it's close enough from LA that we go pretty often).  You are going to LOVE IT!  Laying out by the pool during the day (Tao Beach at the Venetian is great, Mandalay Bay is fun too), spas and shopping, getting dressed up for dinner at night (tons of yummy, fancy restaurants and delicious buffets!), fun bars and clubs, then champagne brunches the next day -- if you're there for your bachelorette party I'm sure you guys will get fun, special treatment too.  You will have a blast!!
