I had my ears pierced when I was little and the holes eventually grew in so oddly enough I dont even have my ears pierced! I would rather go earring less then wear clip ons. I am not too concerned about it really. I havent worn earrings in over 20 yrs so I dont think I will miss them TOO much!
I didn't wear earrings, they hurt my ears and make them big and red, even clip ons and 14 K gold. And I have big ears and big red ears is sooooooooooo not flattering. A few people told me I just HAD to, I ignored them and thought I just looked stunning without them (if I do say so myself).
I'm definitely not wearing them. My dress has all kinds of embellishment on the neck (halter) - I think it would be entirely too much. Plus I never wear earrings and when I do by the end of the day my ears are all red and itchy no matter what kind they are. You definitely don't have to if you don't want to. No one will even notice. And the people who do are the kind of people who care if a bride wears earrings or not. Talk about missing the plot!
I'm not wearing earings either. For two reasons: 1 - my ears are super sensitive and 2 - I don't want to detract from my dress and necklace. As far as I'm concerned, there's only one style requirement for the bride - to look gorgeous!

I've had my ears pierced since I was two years old, but I NEVER wear earrings. I don't think I've worn earrings in over a decade. It's just not my thing. I didn't even own a pair until I bought a pair of small pearl studs for my wedding. I put them in and I just feel so odd wearing earrings, and honestly wouldn't mind not wearing earrings at all.
Everyone I've mentioned this to thinks I HAVE to wear earrings, that it would be weird to be all dressed up with no earrings. I just don't get it...is it really so unacceptable to not wear earrings with my wedding dress?? I'm going to have a fairly large flower in my hair, so it's not like I'm not going to have any decoration around my face.
