Most couples pick 2-4 stores, mainly for guest convenience-not everyone has a Bloomingdales near them, not everyone wants to shop online, etc.

You could do all 3 of the stores you listed, which are a good mix.

I only registered Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  It saved me from any confusion or mix ups.  It was  a great experience.

We only registered at one store.  It was easy for us to keep track of.  Everyone has a Bed, Bath & Beyond or the internet close to them, and they were all in town for the wedding where there are 2 or 3 of them – I know they bought gifts that weekend.

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon.  It’s worked out great- people who can’t or don’t want to go out (or have like Amazon Prime and stuff) can get Amazon stuff (plus they also have a better selection), and the more traditional can go the BB&B route.

We registered at Macy’s and Bed Bath and Beyond. BBB was an afterthought – I realized after registering at Macy’s that they had a lot of the same things for cheaper (and you can use a coupon) or were available online at BBB when they weren’t at Macy’s.

We registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. This gives guests plenty of options on the lower end of the budget spectrum and also on the higher end as well. 🙂

We are registering at 2 (mayyybe 3 at the most) stores. We definitely want to keep with stores that are not too pricey, like target, and then add some big ticket items for people who are naturally going to spend more (close family members, etc.). We also really like the idea of registering at Amazon as well, as a PP mentioned!

Picked 5 stores, because we found things we wanted at different places….we made sure we didn’t register for things we did at other stores as well……all of them are listed on our wedding website and easy to access…

Target, Macys, Bed Bath, Crate and Barrel and JCP…

I think we’re going to do Macy’s and Crate and Barrel.

We were going to do Target but I’ve only heard horror stories about their return policies and how much they hassle people.

We originally registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Macy’s. At the insistence of my FMIL we’re going to register at Belks too, since most of FI’s family/friends shop at Belks already.

We picked 3 stores: Williams & Sonoma (lots of good kitchen stuff, but everything else is pricey), and VivaTerra and AreNaturals (both online-only stores that sell green living stuff.
