What is the formality level of your wedding? I can picture it in a garden wedding or at a big fancy ballroom...at all levels of formalities...
To get a tea-length, I imagine you could have a seamstress chop of the bottom layer, and it would still look killer...
Maybe you could do the two-dress swap-out...
I have no idea. I am guessing it might be around $1000, as I had told the saleslady that was my limit, and she was really good about not showing me anything over that. Its not at all what I was looking for, but it was my size, and she asked would I like to try it on as it had just come in and she hadn't seen it on anyone yet. I actually tried it on twice!!

Eden Bridals #2259 - I tried it on in the store, and it was fantastic, but really too much for the formality of the wedding we are planning. And I do love my dress, but I keep going back and looking at this one - I wish it came in a tea length in another color, and I would buy it for New Years' Eve next year or something. Maybe I'll feel better if someone else is wearing it...
