I never thought I’d be a bride that puts China on her registry, but… after checking them out, we love them! We are getting good cookware and dinnerware, inexpensive flatware and some nice things like vase, bakeware, but also some affordable items like coasters, and other household items.
Somehow, I feel guilty and embarrassed to have china in there. Please convince me that it is ok to register for china? Did you feel it offended your guests to have china in your registry?

China is the most traditional thing you could register for. Don’t feel at all guilty about it, it’s a perfectly normal item.

MuseForever: Of course it’s okay to register for china. As pp said it’s very traditional. Besides, your registry is a suggestion – you are not forcing anyone to buy you anything. If that’s what you want and you think you will register for it, go right ahead.
