(Closed) Is contracting with your wedding venue supposed to be this hard?

I would go into see them to get this sorted it could just be an honest mistake. If they make all the appropriate changes and apologize in person you can read them as a company. If you think it was an honest mistake go with them.

If they are as unorganized as the contract is in person I would find another venue!

I had lots of mistakes at the beginning too. Turned out the catering mgr. had her mom and her brother die within 2 wks! How awful! But I didn’t know so I thought she was ignoring me! Plus, they would not include anything. Once I booked though they are way better, offering us to give special instructions to the chef, providing decor for the cake and buffet table, and providing a sound system all for free. Plus letting us bring our own linens and setting them up for free! But you would not get that from their website! I was sobbing, thinking we could not afford it but now we are under budget. There is hope!!!
